I+Y is a Dutch Interior Architecture company who has a passion for creating places from spaces. Next to interior architects they are concept designers too, which deepens their understanding of the relationship between your identity and requirements to form your unique concept. Identity and place are harmoniously bound to one another. Our aim is to design places that balance between architectural design and fine details, where function and flow result in timeless aesthetics and always reflect your personal identity.

I+Y is founded by Rienk Wiersma and Rebecca Wijsbeek.

Rebecca and Rienk have been working together since the start of I+Y in 2017 and have known each other for years. Their creative relationship is based on friendship and shared design philosophy, complementing each other in the whole design process.

Rienk Wiersma studied at the Willem de Koning Academy in Spatial design and Rebecca Wijsbeek at The Design Academy in Identity design. After more than 15 years of experience in different workfields as Corporate Commercial Retail / Hospitality design / Corporate Office design / Residential and Private Residential design, they decided to combine their talent and creative chemistry to create I+Y and now consists of a small-scale, dedicated, strong and professional design team.
