MID CENTURY VILLA

This interior design concept starts with the orientation of the house. The closed, introverted facades face the street, while the outward-facing, extroverted facades are oriented towards the garden. The client's desire was to enhance the architectural design of the house with the interior. To achieve this, I+Y has created a visual connection between all spaces on the ground floor using a core of smoked oak wood, which provides a powerful and warm element. A large pivoting door in this oak wood wall offers direct access to the rest of the house. Additionally, two indoor fireplaces subtly divide the space, separating the kitchen from the dining area and establishing distinct zones within the living room, including a lounge and a TV area in the sunken seating section. Scope of work: Interior architecture, interior design, fitted and non-fitted furniture.
